Every Member in Ministry

Our church is an Every Member in Ministry church (EMIM). We invite every member or regular visitor to participate in the programs and ministries of the church. Currently there are over 90 ministries that are divided among six umbrella ministries; Worship, Evangelism (Church Growth), Education, Missions, Congregational Care, and Prayer. Many of our members find one or more of the ministries to spend time volunteering, by using their own gifts and talents. As a congregation joined together to support one another, all members and non-members are encouraged to participate. The areas we focus on include Prayers, Presence, Gifts, Service, and Witness.

Prayers:	Prayer is the foundation of every ministry and program of our church. Prayer for our leadership, our congregation, our loved ones, and those who do not know Jesus is essential. This ministry offers many ways that one can enrich their prayer life.
Presence:	Worship and join in fellowship with congregational members. We have an obligation to help one another in every way possible. God’s family works best when it’s members work together.
Gifts:	Support through tithes and offerings. The Bible affirms that we are created in the image of God, and that “God so loved the world that he gave…” (John 3:16) thus, we become more of who God created us to be as we share our time, talent, and treasure. God calls us to give prayerfully, proportionately, and willingly.
Service:	Select one or more of the many ministries within the church that need of your help. As followers of Jesus Christ, we walk in the footsteps of a servant leader. Thus, “service” includes all of the things we do in the name of Christ, both for the church and for others in the world. Our “Every Member In Ministry” effort will help us to be faithful, both to our calling as Christians and to the church and communities in which we live.
Witness:	When you’ve read a good book or seen a good movie, your first inclination is to tell someone else about it, so they too can experience the joy or satisfaction, or peace it brought to you. Likewise, when you have Christ in your life, you want to share that with those you meet. In the simplest terms, we should take the time to get to know people and share our love of Christ with them. Tell them how my life changed with Christ in it.

Monetary donations can be sent to our mailing address. When sending a donation, let us know if there is a particular ministry to which it should be provided.
